Building an AI-native insurance company

Intelligence belongs inside the work—not just in the headline.

Start with the work that needs doing.

Evidence synthesis, case follow-up, service requests, and operational reviews involve information moving between people and systems. AI can be useful when it helps organize that information, surface relevant context, and reduce unnecessary repetition. A label alone does not accomplish any of that.

Assistance must remain accountable.

Insurance decisions affect real people and long-term obligations. AI-assisted work needs traceable sources, appropriate access, review paths, and clear ownership. Assistance should not obscure who is responsible for a decision or substitute a plausible summary for reliable evidence.

Build intelligence into the operating model.

Lifecor is designing its company and Lifecor OS together. Our product vision places assistance in underwriting intelligence, producer workflows, servicing, and carrier operations. These are planned capabilities. Lifecor remains a company in formation, and the work must be judged by the quality of the outcomes—not by how often AI appears in the copy.

Lifecor is a life insurance company in formation. This perspective describes the operating model we are building toward.
